They have been used for shredding foods, pharmaceuticals, plastics, rubber, wood soft metals and cardboard, among many other materials. Reducing waste volumes in this way produces a safer and healthier workplace, clears plant aisles, and reduces chances or misuse and reuse of container and packaging material, also reduces chances of rodent and insect infestation.

Shredders not only provide the first step for a processing operation, but can be used to free plant floor space and to lower hauling costs by reducing material volume. For example, some users immediately shred waste products, such as containers, Hospital Waste, Syringes, Vials, Ampoules, IV containers, Cans, Bottles, bags and cardboard boxes, to reduce the amount of space they need to store waste and to reduce waste hauling. The PARTICLE-IZER utilizes multiple tools, cutting tools mounted in specifically shaped tool holders, which are arranged to form a geometrical pattern around the circumference of the rotor assembly to efficiently utilize the cutting energy. The efficiency of the cutting action reduces temperature rise within the material being processed.

Available in Mild Steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, and abrasion resistant and other materials of construction. All welded housing is available for easy clean designs.

Unit sizes available to meet most application requirements. Model sizes available are,10", 15", 22", 30" & 48". Special configurations will be considered.

Motor sizes to suit application requirements from 1 hp to 75 hp. Because of the rotor configuration, the motor horsepower requirements can be in some cases ¼ that of conventional knife cutters.

Rotor speeds are selected to suit application requirements from 25 to 1000 rpm.
